Day Care Services

Magnolia Day School’s Pinellas Park facility accepts children into our educational programs from one year to five years of age. We also provide part time and full time Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) programs. Magnolia Day School tailors the curriculum to each age group as well. Magnolia Day School is not a babysitting service. Our team of teachers and staff find pride in helping students develop the skills necessary to succeed in school and life. Ensuring we meet all our goals, we’ve designed each and every school to be at the highest level of safety, security, teacher ability, and affordability.

Toddlers
It is important to know that each toddler progresses at their own rate, and our caregivers work to promote developmental milestones at a quickened pace to help build momentum and progress. Concurrent with our developmental curriculum, our teachers focus on letting toddlers learn by playing and “doing.” Toddlers are very curious and tend to learn and develop by being inquisitive and trying themselves.

Two & Three Year-Olds
Two year-olds learn through small & large group play settings as well as through repetition. Not only is each child learning to do activities on their own at the age of 2 and 3, but they learn social skills as well. Caregivers spend a good deal of time teaching the children to vocalize their needs and wants, and to use their words. By the age of 3, children start communicating more and more intensely. As well as Daffer Curriculum, 3 year-olds in our programs also start Character Education.

Four year-olds & VPK
The VPK program at Magnolia Day School features a daily routine of themes that children learn about throughout the school year. This overriding goal of this program is to prepare students for Kindergarten, including 540 instructional hours approved by the Early Learning Coalition.

All our Pinellas Park located facilities and buildings conform to the latest building codes and Pinellas County Licensing Board standards. Top of the line fire and smoke detection systems are constantly monitored, and classrooms that feature direct access to the outdoors to expedite any evacuations. We ensure security and safety in our Pinellas Park location and all locations with a single door digital entry system. This system provides the school with detailed information regarding who enters the building through the key cards given to all parents.

Developing Minds
Child care is much more than simply choosing a person or company to watch your child while you are working or not available. Child care is about developing young minds to prepare them for a successful future.
